Five Katyushas fall at Mt. Meron

The JPost is now reporting that five Katyshuas fell this afternoon at Mount Meron. No one was injured.

If any of you ever wondered why Hezbullah has over 12,000 missiles lined up against us in Southern Lebanon, now you know why. There will unfortunately probably be a lot more like this to come.

But fleeing Southern Lebanon six years ago was such a smart move. /sarcasm

Mt. Meron is up in the Galilee near Safed (Tzvat). I visited the area back in 1993, and it was one of the most beautiful and spiritual places in all of Israel. Mt. Meron is used as a listening post by the IDF and they have all kinds of radar/detection equipment there. It's also the tallest mountain in Israel other than Mt. Hermon (which is located in the Golan Heights).

That could explain why the terrorists are targeting the area.
