Haifa building collapses from Katyusha

Six people were injured this afternoon, one seriously, two moderately and three 'lightly,' when a three-story apartment building in Haifa collapsed this afternoon after being hit by a Katyusha rocket shot by Hezbullah from Lebanon.

The rocket was part of a barrage of rockets that hit Haifa this afternoon; two of the rockets hit before the warning siren sounded.

This afternoon, Katyusha rockets also hit Tverya (Tiberias) and neighboring Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) beaches, Akko (Acre), Tsfat (Safed) and the Southern Golan Heights.

Three Katyushas were shot at the Haifa suburb of Karmiel this morning, damaging another building.

Several other people were wounded in Katyusha attacks in the north today. For more details, go here.
