Haim Ramon to wed tonight

Translation of the Hebrew verse for those who don't read or speak Hebrew: "If I forget thee O Jerusalem, let my right hand be forgotten, may my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I don't remember thee, if I don't remember Jerusalem ahead of my joy."

At weddings in Israel, this verse is typically sung immediately after a glass is broken under the wedding canopy to remember Jerusalem (hopefully you've all seen that in the movies :-) .

For those who don't get the references to Ramon's tongue and Jerusalem follow the links.

Hat Tip: Jameel
