NY Mayor Great interview: NYC Mayor Bloomberg calls Hamas the 'ultimate in cowardice'

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is in Israel today. He stayed in a hotel in Ashkelon last night, and visited Sderot this morning.

In this CNN interview he rips apart the 'disproportionate' nonsense as 'not part of the real world,' blames Hamas for civilian deaths and calls their use of human shields the 'ultimate cowardice,' blames Hamas for 'starting all this,' and talks about government's responsibility to protect its citizens. "In New York City," he says, "we wouldn't do anything but use all our resources to keep you safe."

Let's go to the videotape.

I've got an even better analogy to drive the point home.

Suppose you live in the suburbs, A nice house where you and your spouse and 3 kids live peacefully, never bothering the neighbors.

Every day, for the last 5 years, a group of gang-bangers drives past your place and fires a few rounds into your place. Some days only 2 or 3 rounds, some days a full clip, but up till now your family has only received minor injuries.

How many years are you going to tolerate this attack on your family home before you do something to stop it?

I'm willing to bet, not very friggin long.

Kick the crap out of those hamassholes, and don't stop till they can't get up anymore.

he should have said that hamas has a responsibility to keep the people of gaza safe as well. and that that responsibility means not shooting rockets at neighboring countries and starting wars.
