The UAE adopts 'transfer'

Every time people worry about Israel's 'demographic problem' (which is way overblown), we see a survey asking Israeli Jews whether they would be willing to see Arabs paid to leave. In the last few years, the percentage of Israeli Jews who are willing to see Arabs paid to leave - 'transferred' - has been growing. And inevitably, after each such survey, someone on the left and a representative of the 'Israeli Arabs' (like Sheikh Raed Sallah - pictured) will scream that we are 'racists.'

Debbie Schlussel reports that the United Arab Emirates is doing what Israel - and the United States - would not dare to do to protect itself. The UAE is expelling dozens of Lebanese Shiites, many of whom have lived in the Persian Gulf nation for 20 or 30 years or more. The reason? They don't want terrorism. And they're not paying them to leave either.

But here's the most curious part:
Oh, and again, where’s the international outrage, the U.N. investigation, President Obama’s excoriation, and marches of tens of thousands of Shi’ite Muslims on the streets of Dearborn over this?

Some apartheids are more kosher, er . . . “halal,” than others.
But then, you probably knew that already.

Read the whole thing.

If Israel did the same thing, the international outcry would be deafening.

In the long run, its not really a question of means. Its a question of courage and standing up in the face of the neighborhood bullies.
