Good news from the Shin Bet (General Security Service): More 'sacrifices for peace' coming

I have mentioned before that in the mid-90's, each time there was a terror attack, then-Prime Minister Rabin would tell the media in his well-known monotone that we were making 'sacrifices for peace' and that the 'negotiations' would continue. Now, 15-17 years later, it's deja vu all over again.
The terror threat will increase in the coming weeks as the diplomatic process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority progresses, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Yuval Diskin told ministers in Sunday's weekly cabinet session.

"This is not just an assessment – it is supported by tangible terror-warning information,” Diskin told the ministers. “The element leading this trend is Hamas's military wing,” he added.

Hamas in Judea, Samaria and Gaza “is making every effort to trip up the talks,” Diskin explained. “There is an organizational directive to cause the talks to fail.”
But of course, terror attacks aren't going to deter our government from continuing to talk 'peace' with the good terrorists from Fatah. Yeah, that will motivate them to fight terrorism.

What could go wrong?
