Santorum rips Obama on Israel

Republican Presidential hopeful and former Senator Rick Santorum ripped President Obama's policies toward Israel in a campaign speech on Monday in Ames, Iowa.
Today in Iowa, Santorum spoke to a group of voters on this same theme…and again, very strongly so.
Ames, Ia. – Former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum railed against President Barack Obama’s leadership on foreign affairs Monday night, accusing the Democrat’s administration of abandoning its allies while naively offering olive branches to its enemies.

The Pennsylvania Republican, in remarks to the Story County GOP Central Committee, said Obama has displayed a consistent pattern in Egypt and Yemen of turning the nation’s back on its friends.

He accused Obama of throwing former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak “under the bus” and of leaving Israel “unguarded and unprotected.”

He also criticized Obama’s endorsement of Israel’s 1967 boundaries as the basis for a future Palestine, comparing it to the U.S. giving back New Mexico and Texas to Mexico.

Be careful - Obama may yet propose that too.
