Glenn Beck's Restoring Courage rally will NOT be held at the South Wall of the Temple Mount

Glenn Beck's Restoring Courage rally will NOT be held at the South Wall of the Temple Mount as originally planned due to fear of assassination.

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: Huffington Post).

If they hold the rally on the Mount of Olives, I hope they do it in the lower part where they will not have to go through Arab neighborhoods to get there.

I wonder whether they will consider Mount Scopus on the Hebrew U campus, which has a stunning view of the Old City and the Temple Mount.

Yeh. At least they moved the Tzelem Ba'heichal a few kilometers away this time. What a Kiddush Hashem!

Whom was Glen Beck fearing an assasination from? Or is he just creating a drama for attention? or did he fear a Yygal Amir type fanatic, but thought it may be better to blame the 40,000 Muslim fanatics on the Temple Mount that he was talking about. In his dreams.

By the way, how many people here support Glen Beck rally on the Temple Mount?

I bet Jewish religous fanatics are glad the Arabs are there to take the flak, for not allow paganism and idolatry on the Temple Mount :)

Wah! Wah! Wah!

Muslima Chayma, as Beck pointed out, numerous past Muslim attacks from the Temple Mount on the Jews down below at the Western Wall plaza, is one of the problems which comes to mind that made Beck change the venue. All this because Israeli police are not willing to take sufficient action against your fellow co-religionist animals when they go berserk and endanger people's lives.

This problem is not exclusive to Beck and has everything to do with your fellow Islamic baboons not being put away in cages for the safety of the general public.

Sparky and Shy Guy,

Do you support Glenn Beck holding a rally on the Western Wall? I mean complete with Christian worship?

and Shy Guy

lets assume there were no "islamic baboons". Do you think Beck would be attacked by Jews? or do you think the crowds would include no Jews, those who'd protest?

Don't be hypocritical.

Anyone who has stayed at the Mt. Scopus campus can testify to Carl's experience of the view. Friends of President Barry O's flavor of being a "true friend of Israel" neglect to mention that according to the Prez, the Mt. Scopus campus would be, well, an "illegitimate settlement".

Paganism and idolatry IS being practised on Temple mount. Mozlems wave their backsides towards the Holy of Holies, while bowing down to the moon-god, Al'ah and that meteorite in the Kaaba in Mecca. THEY have no respect for the Temple Mount, but that is deliberate!!

Nope, Chayma, the problem isn't Jews attacking Beck.

And yes, Chayma, it is horrific that Israel is not embarrassed to allow christian events to take place anywhere near the Temple Mount (or anywhere in Israel for that matter), just as it is repugnant that the Islamic Waqf does what it wants on the Temple Mount.

Juniper, whatever the Arab pagans who became Muslims 1400 years ago used to worship, they have for a very long time now been pure monotheists. Islam's monotheistic attribution of the Creator of the world matches the Torah's and Judaism's.

It is christians who have always been worshippers of paganism and idolatry to this day.

Chayma, Glenn isn't going to the kotel--so it's all hypothetical.

I don't object to Mormons setting foot in the kotel plaza.

Or xtians.

Or Muslims.

Or Hindus.

Or atheists.

Or moon worshippers, potheads, pagans, Elvis fans, or ganja smoking Ganesha girls.

As to public assemblies, rallies, game shows, garage sales, or public prayers led by bishops, prelates, holy rollers, or snake handlers--that's the presiding rabbis' call.

Sparky, Beck had planned for what he himself called an "uber christian event" at the Southern Wall plaza, which was to take place on 8/21, 3 days before the main "Restoring Courage" event.

As a Jew living in the land of Hashem, I have nothing more to say than the usual "stupid Jews".

More often than not, the problem is us.
