Video: Erdogan tells al-Jazeera that Mavi Marmara was 'cause for war'

Here's an interview from Sunday with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on al-Jazeera, in which he refers to the Mavi Marmara raid as causus belli (cause for war). Of course, the question is if it were truly a cause for war, why didn't he make a war? (Answer - because he knew he was and is wrong).

Let's go to the videotape. I'll have a little more below.

It's pretty funny watching Erdogan wonder why Israel isn't returning his UAV's. Does he really think we're going to arm someone who is so hostile to us? Does he think that the US is going to continue to arm him if he continues to threaten Israel (unless Obama is reelected, in which case all bets are off).

So far, Erdogan is nothing but a big talker. And I suspect that he'll stay that way at least so long as he knows that the US is behind Israel.

Hi Carl.
He did not go to war cause he did not have the support of the military top, things have changed now.The military top is 'purified' and the OIC and Obama admin are behind him.

Given the Turkish government's involvement in the flotilla, it was indeed a cause for war - a Turkish-government supported effort to breach a legal sea blockade.

@ Will you are absolutely right. The old democratic military is gone just recently…military now ruled by Islamic radicals like PM Erdogan

I think Israel should be preparing...
it will have an all front war (north with lebanon and syria, south with egypt, west with turkey (naval war) and east with the west bank (and perhaps Jordan))
