Obama claims to be 4th best President ever, CBS edits it out

On 60 Minutes last Sunday night, President Obama claimed to be the 4th best President ever. But even if you watched 60 Minutes, you didn't see that claim. CBS edited it out to keep him from looking like an even bigger fool (Hat Tip: Memeorandum).

Let's go to the videotape (Hat Tip: The Anchoress).

Newsbusters adds:
Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Obama. That's because in his not so humble opinion, he ranks even higher than John F. Kennedy. Don't feel so bad, President Kennedy. Obama also feels that his administration is better than that of Presidents Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan to name a few.

Hey, Woodrow Wilson! You failed to get the U.S. Senate to vote for a treaty to join the League of Nations. That's because you lacked the up close and personal political skills of our Obama who is renown for shmoozing politicians. The administration of Harry Truman brought about NATO and the Marshall Plan that saved Europe? Boring! Obama used his incredible diplomatic skills to bring the Olympics to Chicago. Okay, he came sort of close to doing it but, hey, he bagged a Nobel Peace Prize for basically existing. Beat that, Harry!

Oh. You say the Dwight D. Eisenhower administration gave us the Interstate Highway System? Big deal, Ike! Barack Obama could have Interstate Highwayed this country in his sleep.

So kneel, all you presidential peons, before the greatness that is Obama. His radiance shines so bright that it dazzled Steve Kroft to the extent that he didn't even bother to ask an obvious followup question.
This got me thinking back to Obama's acceptance speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention (and for those of you who think that image on the left is just parody, I'm going to stick an image of the set-up at Denver's Mile High Stadium at the bottom of this post, so you'll see it's not), and... wow... this guy is so full of himself it's amazing. And it's why he thinks he can tell all of us, around the world what's best for us. From Americans on whom he's imposing his health plan to Israelis on whom he wants to impose the 1949 armistice lines and everyone else in between. The man has an enormous ego and an even more enormous problem.

If God forbid he is reelected in 2012, what could go wrong?

As to the media, CBS ought to be called on the carpet for editing that line out (and thanks to those who 'outed' it). People have the right to know that their President is an egomaniac.

Here's the acceptance speech image I promised you:

Remember how this works. It's marxism. It is people forced to be dependent on the collective (and the NPD dictator?)... and the U.S. (and Israel!) have done a lot of this. It is not the organization of life called for in the Torah.

Their View: One says "help wanted" while another posts "do not enter"

"Does it make sense for one government department to spend millions of dollars to train farmers and ranchers while another department regulates an experienced agricultural work force out of existence?"

And it is coming from the lawless feds. Breaking down the last of the families and ruining children's chance to have a positive life experience.

Hang on! CBS promotes Obamania just like the rest of the msm, does this mean they don't believe what they say themselves??

Can anyone tell me what the piece of music played throughout the '4th best President' is? It's not Bach..

I read the transcript of the interview in 60 Minutes overtime. Someone is doing some spin doctoring to make President Obama look bad and trusting that people won't be bothered to read the transcripts or if they do, are too uneducated to realize at what point someone is doing the spin doctoring. As someone who grew up in the oil industry and lives in the province of Alberta, it's not easy defending President Obama.
