Breaking: Jews being expelled from Machpeila House in Hebron

Israel Radio has just reported (1:10 pm) that defense minister Ehud Barak has sent the yassam unit (special forces) of the border police into the Machpeila House in Hebron to expel the families that have been there since last Thursday night. The yassamnikim are the unit that beat women and children at Amona in early 2006. (There are many more posts where those came from - search "site:israelmatzav.blogspot.com Amona" in your favorite search engine).

Last hour, Israel Radio interviewed Deputy Prime Minister Moshe (Boogie) Yaalon, who accused Barak of trying to implement the Leftist Independence party's policies in the Likud's Right-wing government. Yaalon called for removing the authority to grant permits for Jewish building

One government spokesman after another is going on the radio to condemn Barak. On Tuesday, the government agreed to give the residents a month to prove their ownership (Minister Yuli Edelstein is speaking now and saying that Barak decided to expel the residents on his own without the approval of any other minister. Edelstein doesn't believe that Netanyahu knew about this in advance either).

Meanwhile, Barak has accused Yaalon of playing 'cheap politics.'
Barak's bureau lashed back at Ya'alon saying, "the man who on Tuesday declared himself as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's successor, began his primary campaign by trying to enlist Feiglin supporters in the Likud."

"It is unfortunate that Ya'alon mixes cheap political considerations in defense establishment decisions, while undermining the responsibility of the government to protect democracy and the rule of law."

Ya'alon recommended transferring the responsibility over settlements in Judea and Samaria, where over 300,000 Jews have settled according to the IDF, to other ministers. The vice premier accused the defense minister of running an oppositional platform within the government regarding Jewish settlements.

"All he does is start fires instead of solving problems," said Ya'alon, whose comments reflected direct criticism from right-wing lawmakers of Barak over the issue.

Another Likud MK, Tzipi Hotovely, warned on Tuesday that Netanyahu must allow the families to remain or risk the collapse of the government.

From Jerusalem, MK Danny Danon (Likud) accused Barak of using the Hebron home to launch his reelection campaign.

Despite the vitriolic rhetoric emanating from the Right, Netanyahu insisted on Tuesday that he and Barak were "in coordination," but meetings between the two and other ministers ended without definitive decisions Tuesday night.
Read the whole thing.

The problem is that three years into his government, Prime Minister Netanyahu has still not decided who he is. Is he the man who voted in favor of the Gaza expulsion, gave the Bar Ilan speech, and brought Leftists like Ehud Barak and Dan Meridor into his government, or is he a true Right winger who is trying to save 'outposts' from demolition and refusing to make concessions to the 'Palestinians.' Netanyahu's internal contradictions are what fuels Moshe Feiglin's drive to lead the Likud. Well, I warned about this, didn't I?

UPDATE 1:34 PM

Israel Radio is now reporting that the residents have started to leave Machpeila House, and that the yassamnikim used violence inside the house. A small girl just said that her father was beaten (she told someone who was being interviewed - the radio station doesn't want to listen to the kids).

If the Jews in Hebron were REALLY behaving any differently from the Galut Jews that are so much ill-spoken about in Israel, they would not go like sheep but they would make ALL DEPORTATION and ALL EXPULSION OF JEWS so unbearably costly that the government would think twice about expelling Jews too, and not only Arabs.
They should learn from the Arabs' attachment to their homes.
ONLY TORAH IS NOT LEARNT FROM GOYM!
Instead, they do not resist and passively accept and then complain.
Having lived there for 15 years, i can say without the shadow of a doubt that they are affected by one of the most dangerous forms of idolatry: state-olatry.
Their "mamlakhtiuth" is among the most extremes.
The state is holy, the army is holy...etc.

As far as Zig-Zag-Yahoo is concerned, a liar he was and a liar he remains.
Without going on too much on his promise not to negotiate with terrorists, making fun of Peres for that in 1995, just to give away HEbron a few months later and then even calling AraBfaRt "my friend" at the Wye conference in 1998; or his promise to withdraw FOREVER from politics, which he made in 1999; and his continuous POSING as a National Camp leader, while he has been the worst enemy of the Jews of Judea, Samaria and Gaza since his first term...
How can one forget the story of the "burning cassette", a bluff done to him by David Levy during a TV debate in 1991, where Netanyahu came out as a liar and someone who had had extra-marital relations for years, and believing that there was a cassette showing him "pulling a Clinton"...he did a public outing on TV, confessing his lies and betrayals to his wife, to the astonished Israeli public who, rightly, saw (and quick forgot) what kind of a bimbo that guy is?

I cannot understand why there is no attempt to re-focus the media on the fact that the Arab who sold them the house is on death row for the trouble.

Maybe if the PA "democracy" executes him that will "prove" that he sold it to the Jews and they can stay.

The problem IS NOT, as even the leftist civil administration of the army has communicated, to prove the reality or not of the sale.
They don't even have to discuss that.
They DENY the right OF JEWS to buy a house as DISTURBING THE PEACE!!
As racist as the goyim in Minsk and Pinsk.
