Batsheva dance company disrupted in Edinburgh

And you thought the Brits were so 'cultured'.....
Protesters have disrupted a performance by an Israeli dance company which was taking place at the Edinburgh International Festival.

The show - Hora - by the Batsheva Dance Company, from Tel Aviv, had to be stopped three times after protests inside the Playhouse Theatre.

Earlier about 100 people gathered to sing, demonstrate and burn tickets outside the theatre.

Batsheva is partly funded by the Israeli government.
More British anti-Semitism at its finest.... In a few years, that country will be totally overrun by Muslims.

It is not anti-Semetic to protest against the brutal treatment of Palestinians by Israel. Anti-semitism is the excuse trotted out by Zionists to try and stifle any critisism of Israel.

It is not anti-semitism to criticise Israel. You devalue the term.

Disrupting a performance by a country occupying land illegally and squatting on territory earmarked for another state (Palestine) does not automatically translate to being 'uncultured'.

It means Britain stands for justice, equal rights, end of apartheid and oppression.

Something that Jewish values are supposed to uphold, but a so called 'religious' Jew like you ignores.

You're a disgrace to Judaism.

Britian is blessed because it's Islam friendly (see below) it doesn't need to be 'overun'. :)

By the way Carl, why don't you visit the exhibition by 1001 Inventions, and write about it? It's in Washington at the moment, and proving popular.

Make sure you write an honest account, for once :)

11th May 2012, London – His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has written the foreword for the latest edition of the best-selling 1001 Inventions book, published by National Geographic, which demonstrates the enduring legacy of Muslim civilization. The previous two editions of the flagship 1001 Inventions publication sold more than 250,000 copies, with Turkish and Arabic versions also proving very popular.

Praising the project, The Prince of Wales states in his foreword: “I am delighted to see the success of the initiative called 1001 Inventions, which presents and celebrates the many scientific, technological and humanitarian developments shared by the Islamic world and the West.”

The Prince of Wales also states: “It is a matter of great pride that, although global in its outreach and operation, 1001 Inventions is in fact an initiative of a British-based team supported by a network of academics around the world.”

1001 Inventions highlights how many of the most important scientific and technological discoveries and building blocks of modern civilization came out of Muslim society during the centuries after the fall of ancient Rome — a period known as the ‘Dark Ages’ in European civilization. However, while the Western World was in the doldrums, a “knowledge revolution” was occurring in the Muslim world.
