500 retired military officers sign on ad supporting Romney

This is impressive. There's an ad appearing in Monday's Washington Times that supports Mitt Romney. The ad is signed by 500 military officers from all of the United States armed forces branches.

No 5 stars left, Sunlight. The last of the 5 star generals and admirals from WW2, Omar Bradley, passed away in 1981.

Five star rank was a very nice reward for those distinguished admirals and generals who led American forces to victory in WW2. For pay and benefits purposes, they drew full pay and benefits until the day they died.
