'Palestinian Authority' invites international forces to Judea and Samaria?

The 'Palestinian Authority' is warning of 'chaos' due to protests against Israel's incursion into Gaza.
The Palestinian Authority warned Saturday of “chaos” in the West Bank in response to the ongoing IDF operation in the Gaza Strip.
The warning came as Palestinians staged demonstrations in various parts of the West Bank in protest against the IDF offensive.
Many protesters carried Hamas’s green flags and chanted slogans calling on the Islamic movement’s armed wing, Izzadin Kassam Brigades, to “destroy Tel Aviv.”
And of course, the 'Palestinian Authority' cannot or will not (take your pick) control Hamas.  That leaves three alternatives to anarchy/Hamas control. The first two are that the IDF comes in and takes control or 'international forces' come in and take control. I'd bet on the IDF going in before 'international troops.'

But there's a third alternative, and that's the one I would bet on. I would  bet that what the 'Palestinian Authority' is really seeking is some of that money that they're being denied because of their UN efforts on the pretext that they will spend it to reassert control over their own territory.

What could go wrong?

Abu Mazen wants an international force to crush Hamas in Yesha so that he can reign as Godfather Supreme. The Arabs in Yesha are the most policed and security forced people per capita in the entire world. Something like 10% of the population is nominally in some security or police force or another.
