Five Turkish citizens among Mavi Marmara attack force?

Just to show you that some obsessions never die....

This Turkish report claims that five Turkish citizens (link in Turkish) were among the Israeli naval commandos who stopped the Mavi Marmara two years ago. According to the report, all five returned to Turkey, and the MIT - the Turkish intelligence service - has given their names and addresses to the court (Hat Tip: Simone B).

On the one hand, it makes sense to me that if the IDF has (or had) Turkish speaking soldiers as part of Shayetet 13 (the naval commando unit) that those soldiers would be made part of the mission.

On the other hand, it makes no sense to me that those five soldiers would have returned to Turkey after the event was over - even temporarily.

And it makes even less sense to me that Turkey, which is so obsessed with the Mavi Marmara, would have taken this long to find out about it and would not have arrested these people already.

My Turkish is non-existent - the details were provided by the person who got the hat tip.

You can see a Google translation - which confirms my source's version of what the article says - here.
