US says talks aren't resuming, Euros say new guidelines won't be delayed

The State Department said on Thursday that there will be no announcement of renewed talks on Friday, as had been previously reported by al-Hayat. I'm sure you're all shocked.
"There are currently no plans for an announcement for the resumption of negotiations," [US State Department Spokeswoman Jen] Psaki said in Amman, where US Secretary of State John Kerry is on his sixth visit to the region to try to revive peace talks that broke down nearly three years ago.
I'm shocked. Meanwhile, the Europeans announced that they will publish their 2013 version of the Nuremberg Laws on Friday as planned.
The EU Commission issued a statement Thursday saying Barroso "explained the context and the objective of the guidelines." Barroso said that the guidelines did not represent a shift in the EU position, and he said the intention was to continue EU-Israel cooperation "within its internationally recognized borders."
"Following a request from Israeli authorities the EU stands ready to engage in consultations on their implementation," he said. He also added that the "EU supports the US efforts to resume the peace talks without pre-conditions." One of Israel's arguments against the step is that it would torpedo US Secretary of State John Kerry's efforts to re-start peace talks.
The EU's willingness to talk about "implementation" appears to be a readiness to talk about the source of wording in future EU-Israel financing agreements regarding their inapplicability beyond the Green Line.
The guidelines do not spell out exactly what the so called "territorial clause" on future agreements will say, and Barroso's statement is an indication that there was some "wiggle room."
That ought to get the 'Palestinians' to the table... oh, wait... it's not that we have to get the 'Palestinians' to the table.  It's that we need to make sure that Israel gives up enough before they ever get there.

I have a suggestion. Agree to everything the Arabs demand. Don't even review them, simply say 'What-ever!' And then see what happens. 99% probability they refuse and make more demands. Which of course must be agreed to. I mean publicly. Because it doesn't matter. Simply say whatever they want to hear, categorically. And if by some weird confluence of events the Arabs come to the table, then Israel must go into full melt-down mode and scream that all agreements are off the table, all Arabs are racists, that Israel demands a formal apology and so forth. And walk out of the room. At that point, whatever the Arabs say or don't say - should be called a racist war crime. If they ask for clarification, ignore their questions and demand they release all Jewish prisoners (even though there are none and everyone knows that).

The point is to act completely irrational and insane at all times. Troll them 100%. Make completely absurd demands like demanding that the Dome of the Rock must be moved to some other location. Demand that all meetings must be 100% kosher. It doesn't really matter. Just do any random thing for a few years. Abbas will be dead soon anyway so whatever they pretend to expect to do now will be null and void the day Abbas dies.

In short, the Arabs are addicted to chaos - give it to them.
